A 24-year-old female asked:
At 20 weeks during a 3rd pregnancy, where is the top of the uterus usually located in relation to the belly button with a singleton pregnancy?

Gynecology 40 years experience
At 20 weeks: the uterus should be at the level of the belly button. This is measured with the patient reclining and relaxed by the obstetrician. This cannot be accurately measured while standing or by the patient herself ( even if she is an obstetrician-personal experience with this!).
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
