Maybe : We know now that 1 in 5 Americans have the HSV 1 and/or 2 virus.The vast majority of them don't even know that they have it.The slide used in lectures is of an ice berg with the portion above the water being those who have had outbreaks.Unfortunately both types 1and2 can be either oral or genital and the only way to know where u have the virus is by having an outbreak.The best advice is to b safe
