Can celiac disease be 100% ruled out with the blood test?

Yes: If genetic markers (DQ 4, 8) are negative and there is not antibody to gliadin peptide, celiac disease can be ruled out.

Genetic marker: Celiac diseases are linked to the HLA DQ2 and DQ8 genes. Research is ongoing on non Celiac gluten intolerance which may be based on totally different mechanisms.
