Hepatitis: You need tests for hepatitis B and C and a liver ultrasound. It would be good for you to see a liver specialist as well.

Needs w/u by GI: Bile reflux occurs at a rate of 30%-100% after stomach surgery and 80%-90% after gallbladder surgery.The term postcholecystectomy syndrome (PCS) describes the preseince of symptoms after cholecystectomy, affects 10-15 % of pts. Functional disorders of the biliary tract (including irritable sphincter) is the most common causes of PCS.w/associated liver abn. I strongly rec.u see a GI specialist.

Agree with Dr. F.: You symptoms warrant investigation by a GI physician. If you are overweight, some to the issues may be related to that. Try losing weight in case you have fatty liver.
