Hi.. i can just about see my epiglottis if i angle the mirror right... and i've noticed it has a whitish lump on it. very sore throat too.

See ENT doc: It's hard to self examine one's epiglottis. Probably within normal limits. But with a suspected "whitish bump" and a very sore throat, it's best to see an ENT doc for exam ASAP.

Epiglottitis, PCP: See your PCP ASAP, because if epiglottitis is not treated quickly, the airway can become compromised. Call your doctor today or visit Urgent Care.
