Son fell yesterday grazed elbow there is no swelling or bruising he isn't complaining of pain but is holding arm against body and won't use it..xray??

He should be: examined and possibly have an X-ray. He may just have a bruise, but it is possible he has a dislocated (actually subluxated) elbow, also known as Nursemaid's elbow, which does need medical attention. It also is possible that there is a fracture, which would be diagnosed by an X-ray.
