UTI isn't likely...: ...to cause enough bleeding to notice; it's could happen but not usually. Was your cystitis confirmed by testing? STDs (gonorrhea, chlamydia) can cause UTI symptoms, and could also cause vaginal bleeding, especially following sex. Double check with your doctor about these things, and whether you had STD testing. Also ask your partner(s) about symptoms like urethral discharge. Good luck!
