Is it normal for utis to recur a week after finishing antibiotics that are sensitive? nausea & mild flank discomfort came back & today trace protein and blood in my urine. is that a sign of kidney problems or infection? trying to understand this more?

UTI can reoccur after recent treatment. It could be caused by different bacteria, or other causes could contribute. Evaluation of anatomy and function(reflux) of urinary tract should also be considered. With mentioned symptoms urinalysis with urine culture is needed at this time. Mentioned symptoms could be sign of kidney problem or infection.
