Not primarily: Pain and spasm in the low back can propagate up towards the neck and base of the skull as the paraspinal muscles are interlinked in a jumpfrog fashion. Which can cause spasm related symptoms in the arms and head. Also, the same conditions leading to symptoms in your low back could be causing your upper back symptoms.
