Disc: Bulging or herniated discs don't cause bruising of the legs or feet but can cause discomfort radiating to the legs. Have your Physician evaluate the discoloration of your ankles and look for other causes.

Review with your doc: Easy bruisibility can occur from taking aspirin, nonsteroidal antiinflammatory pills (aleve or ibuprofin), fish oil, alcohol (wine, beer or liquor), vitamin E. St John's wort, and other blood thinners (coumadin, and many others). Review all your medications with your doctor. Many prescription pain meds have aspirin in them. You may need just one doctor to manage all drugs. Feel Well.
