Hydration: Keep your child hydrated with plenty of pedialyte , watch for other symptoms. If the diarrhea lasts more than four days most definitely see your doctor. Make sure your child can still void and is making urine. Keep an eye on his over all behavior. If you noticed any blood, parasite, or pus call your doctor immediately.

Prevent dehydration: Offer pedialyte between light meals. May drink milk but avoid fresh vegatables and any juice.

Regular diet: Keeping up with nutrition and hydration is the most important, and sometimes most difficult task in helping a toddler through a bout of diarrhea. If your child can eat his/her regular diet, go ahead and offer it. If the intake is limited i would get an electrolyte replenisher, such as pedialyte, to gain maximum hydration.
