My two year old has had diarrhea for two weeks. it's severe to the point he wakes up covered in it every day. is this more serious than teething?

Yes: Teething alone does not cause such severe diarrhea. Call the doctor now. It is important to get him evaluated and find out what is going on.

Yes: It is important to see your childs md at this time. Diahrrea for this long can cause dehydration which is dangerous for your child.

Need examination: Please call your pediatrician immediately. If you had severe diarrhea 2 weeks straight wouldn't you seek help? This sounds like more than just a teething problem. And until you get to the pediatrician or the er, keep your child hydrated.
