Yes: The feeling of food in the throat is a not uncommon symptom of GERD. Since GERD tends to be a long-term illness, it is possible that you may need to be back on medication for it. If you are having actual sticking of your food as you try to swallow it, you may need an endoscopy to look at and perhaps dilate your esophagus, in addition.
