Check it out: I am not sure if your lump is related to gerd. It may or may not. I recommend it be checked, though. Go to your primary care physician to begin with and he may request ENT or gastroenterology consult. You can take ranitidine or Famotidine or Omeprazole or Lansoprazole over-the-counter for your reflux symptoms. If they lump goes away on that therapy, you would know it is reflux related.
