Social Anxiety: I understand your discomfort in a group situation. Respect yourself for being comfortable to talk one to one, therefore it is not Asperger. At the end of the day, make list of your social encounters one to one, reflect on your comfort, easiness and relaxed feeling. Some nervousness and discomfort in unfamiliar groups is ok. See a Therapist if you have marked anxiety or avoiding social settings

Social phobia is: likely. A mental health professional can make the differential diagnosis between that and other situation. Social anxiety is very treatable and there is lots of reason to hope. Peace and good health. Medication alone is not best, psychological treatment most helpful.
