A member asked:

Is there a link between speaking loudly and aspergers?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Just as aspies tend to have poor physical coordination, modulating the speed, tone and volume of the voice may be difficult. Things that are obvious to others are seldom obvious to the aspie; criticism will only hurt and guidance is often very helpful. This isn't something that junior can handle on his own and a short course of speech therapy may be very helpful.
