Maybe: The degree of a burn is determined by blistering (2nd degree) or loss of sensation (3rd degree). First degree burn is just redness. If you have continued redness after a burn it may be inflammatory changes or post inflammatory hyper pigmentation. You didn't mention how long ago the burn was. The color may go away on it's own, but it may not. You should see a doctor if it's been over a month.
