What,Don'tTrust'Em??: Most normal lymph nodes are about 1cm in size (0.5 - 2.0cm) but varies depending on location and its activity.Infections,cancer and many other conditions can cause it to enlarge as it and the immune system react to a problem.There are 500-700 lymph nodes spread through the body so variations in size can be...sizeable(e.g. 0.5cm at the elbow and 2cm in the groin are are"big"),depends on the problem
