Can cpap treatment lead to onset of central or mixed apnea for pateints with osa and ohs? i understand that such cases should be treated with bipap.

Sleep apnea: DRam~ you are getting ahead of yourself and into areas that even Drs often dont fully grasp. Do this rather than what you are asking. Get a SLEEP TEST done by a Dr who is skilled in its interpretation. Once done HE will tell you whether or not CPAP or biPAP is better utilised. thanks

Depends: Depends on the situation. Work with a board certified sleep MD, get sleep studies. Recommendation will be based on your profile.
