Excision: Excision is usually curative other option is aspiration but reoccurrence is a problem. If it is not bothering you then you don't need any treatment.

Ganglion cyst: No worry. This is not serious. There are ways of helping this. You can drain the cyst and inject it with steroids. Or a little known treatment is that you (your doctor) can place a large silk suture into the cyst and leave it in for 2 days and remove. The silk causes a reaction which in turns scars down the cyst. If nothing helps a hand surgeon can remove it. Or. You can leave it.
