Can someone leave ganglion cyst untreated which is in wrist.how long it takes to go? is that harmful? home remedy please?

Ganglion cysts are common and don't have to be removed unless they bother you. The old time physicians used to slam them with a phone book to break them up, but I don't advise anyone to do that.
