Incomplete Treatment: An ear infection can be internal (otitis media) or external (otitis externa). The medications Rx and strategies used to treat these 2 types of ear infection are different. If you have been Rx antibiotics and are still feeling pain or discomfort, this may indicate inadequate Tx. Please see your doctor to be re-evaluated and have your initial Dx reconsidered. Otherwise, an ENT consult may benefit.
