Vagisil: Vagisil does not treat the cause of vaginal itching and burning and can make the problem worse by chemical irritation of the vagina.There has been shown to be some increase in the frequency of vaginal yeast infections associated with the use of oral contraceptives. See your PCP or GYN to be sure what is causing the vaginal itching and burning and, if it is yeast, discuss your contraceptive options
