Pain following sex: Best see a doctor about this. Pain for a day or two after sex can be due to minor trauma, expecially if sex was vigorous. But "a few days" probably is too long for that. If there are sores or blisters, or tender swelling in the groin, herpes is a possibility and can first show up in monogamous couples, if one partner already has it but isn't aware. Check it out: better safe than sorry.
