I have a uti and was told to use vagisil or cortisone 10 to help with the itching. both burn really bad when i tried them. why is that? other options?

Uti: A uti requires antibacterial medications to clear it and vagisil or cortisone cream will not affect it. They are used to treat vaginal inflammation or infection.
