Until it heals: Itching is the first stage of the pain response from the chemical burn and tissue exfoliation. If the itching continues beyond one week, go see a MD to have the area checked for continued healing or infection.

"chemical burn"?: This agent will not cause burns but may sometimes cause allergic reactions. You need a diagnosis so you will know how to get relief. See a dermatologist or GYN. Sounds like you need a prescription-strength cortisone. Why vagisil? Is the original problem cleared or does it need treatment?

Why itch: If you were having a yeast infection it may not be treated and therefore you are still having symptoms of itching.
