Ask your doc: Talk to your primary care doctor about it. There are conflicting reports about how much benefit daily, low dose aspirin provides. Don't be shy, and let your doctor know that you feel more comfortable taking it. Won't be a problem with the diverticulitis. It should be a discussion in the context of your entire clinical situation. Hope this helps!
