Should i be takin a 81 aspirin and eatin sweets. i have diverticulitis. i started aspirin on my own,took for years .docs.never told me to go off of it?

Ask your doc: Talk to your primary care doctor about it. There are conflicting reports about how much benefit daily, low dose aspirin provides. Don't be shy, and let your doctor know that you feel more comfortable taking it. Won't be a problem with the diverticulitis.
