Dose/time/med: Dose is 50-200, takes a few weeks sometimes, & may not be the right drug for you.

Depressed Mood: Notice that you are menopausal & on some type of medication for that. You are also on pristiq, (desvenlafaxine) melatonin & seroquel. Your depressive symptoms may not be straight forward. Hormonal changes can have a powerful impact on mood. Regardless of what medication you are on, you are likely to multiply the benefits if you combine it with therapy (like cognitive behavioral therapy or psychotherapy).

Pristiq (desvenlafaxine): Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) is not a magic bullet against depression, even at therapeutic doses. Your dose may need to be raised for a full trial, or it may not be the best medication for you. If this is the case, there are others which may provide better results. Your case may also not be clear, and more diagnostic interviewing is needed so that you get the best treatment. Hoping you're working w/a psychiatrist?
