Black gum: How long he had that ? Let him suck on ice chips or eat cold food but if it persisted see your pediatrician or dentist. Good luck .

Dark Gums: This is something that should be physically examined by your son's dentist. Could be as simple as pigmentation. Please make an appointment with his dentist.
