Nutrition: In patients with interstitial lung disease it is important for them to have a healthy, well balanced diet. People can lose weight with lung disease because they expend so much energy on breathing. Fresh fruits and vegetable, lean meats or fish and whole grains are best. Avoid processed foods and excess sweets. Take a multivitamin daily and get some exercise as tolerated. Prawns are fine.
