A member asked:

What foods cantain contractile proteins? what kind of a diet (what kinds of proteins) should a parkinson's patient have?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No special diet: All proteins are digested digested to amino acids when eaten, from which your body synthesizes its own contractile proteins, for muscle for example. Regarding diet, we're talking about a well-balanced nutritious diet. There is no special diet for persons suffering Parkinson's disease. Hope that helps.
