Ulcer on uvula: Ulcers on the uvula can be due to aphthous ulcers (canker sores), infections both viral and bacterial, drugs and certain diseases such as Behcet's disease. A single ulceration without pus is unlikely strep but if it persists you should have it looked at and a culture taken.

Yes: Could definitely be strep throat. Would get a culture and possibly antibiotics.
