Bad taste in mouth: Have you had your teeth cleaned and examined recently? Do you have allergies or sinus problems? Is your mouth dry? Start by seeing a dentist for an evaluation and teeth cleaning. Your dentist may recommend an evaluation by your primary care MD?

DDS and MD: We can't diagnose your issues over the internet, without a complete medical and dental history and clinical examination. It would appear you need to see a dentist for an evaluation regarding the terrible taste and bad breath. If you have chronic sleeping issues, also consult with your physician. That's the way towards a healthy mouth and body.

Bad breath: In the majority of cases, the cause of bad breath or halitosis, is the product of bacteria in the mouth and gum disease. The proper diagnosis is the key to a successful treatment. See your dentist for Halimeter test, diagnosis and bad breath treatment that depends on its cause. Good luck.
