See a doctor!: Painful insect bites deserve attention because they can be infected - red, warm, tender. This is even more important with possible spider bites as the infection can lead to tissue necrosis. Please see a doctor ASAP. An ER visit may not be necessary. An urgent care center or virtual consult may suffice. You will likely receive an antibiotic, anti-inflammatories, and lots of reassurance. Good luck!
