Indirect : The adrenal gland makes hormones that effect the BP and the kidneys handling of fluids and potassium. But doesn't effect the kidney function directly. Any change in BP that is significant can effect the kidney either lower or higher. So thought the adrenals sit on top of the kidney it doesn't control the GFR.
