Correlate with pain: Hallux valgus and metatarrsus primus varus are both names for deformity of great toe where proximal part , the metatarsal, goes toward midline and distal part, phalanges, go away from midline. Common term is bunion when symptomatic.Dorsal thickening is non specific and usually refers to soft tissues in area of top of foot. All findings have to be corrrelated with symptoms.
