Meralgia: If you are compressing the lateral femoral nerve of the thigh at the superior iliac crest, this causes symptoms of pain and tingling over the antero-lateral thigh. Avoid tight belts and clothing around the hip area, but see your doctor if this progresses. It's called meralgia paresthetica.
