Discharge: the discharge is likely old blood. You probably need a progesterone withdrawal every month or two to get your period to be more regular. In the U.S. we use provera (medroxyprogesterone) typically for 10 days to help you cycle properly. Metformin is the right medication for PCOs patients, but again you made need to provera (medroxyprogesterone) too.
