A member asked:

Does eating burnt food increase your risk of cancer? does overcooking food with oil in turn into hydrogenated fat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: There is a fair amount of research on overcooking of meat and correlation with cancer, in particular colon cancer. You can search for such articles on www.pubmed.org but one example of a review article is: http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/100/Supplement_1/386S.long Sorry I cannot answer your other question.
