A member asked:

I have a lipoma on my lower back when i press on it . it hurts i heard it is connected with a nerve so is this a dangerous lipoma ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Safer than u think: Normally a lipoma is not connected to a nerve, but it may compress one. These are not dangerous, there are no nerves there that are likely to be seriously affected.
