7 yr old with fever up and down for 5 days. now 102.7. lethargic, chills, cough, won't eat & barely drinks. sleeping all day. hospital sent us home.

Fever &l ethargy: If your child is lethargic, would not eat or drink with fever& cough you need to take him to his pediatrician ASAP or go to urgent care center or back to the hospital, try to control the fever with tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen & luke warm bathing, keep him hydrated with frequent sips of fluids. I hope he gets better soon. Good luck.
