Likely need Vit. D: At 65, you likely have basic labs performed, and hopefully on a routine basis. Typical labs will give a basic exam on electrolytes and waste products. A Complete Metabolic Panel and thyroid test will give a view of organ function. Vitamin D has a large therapeutic index and the likelihood of it being low increases with age. B12 also follows this pattern.
