Therapy?: Have you yet tried any form of psychotherapy? Typically, the optimal combination of things to treat emotional issues such as anxiety or depression is medication (which, on your best day, is supposed to take the edge off symptoms) but the real gruntwork takes place in psychotherapist's consulting room.

Panic disorder is: best dealt w/in conjunction w/a mental health professional. Remember that panic attacks are self limiting. An old book by Claire Weakes called "Hope and Help for your Nerves" may be helpful. Please learn strategies and don't use medicine alone if you use it. Anxiety can temporarily interfere w/memory.

Panic attacks: Panic attacks can last for several hours for many people, but can be treated! Please talk to your doctor about medication options (usually SSRIs) and truly effective anxiety therapy. I most strongly recommend Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for faster resolution. A good therapist can also talk someone down out of a panic attack.

Yes and yes. Panic: can last a few minutes or days. Fatigue is the natural result because the adrenaline being pumped into your body changes metabolism, burns fat, increases focus and sensory alertness--all consume glucose. Your brain will not work well after such attacks because it, too is depleted. Visit a psychiatrist after your GP. These symptoms can be treated effectively.
