Possibly: PCOS is a condition that can cause you not to ovulate regularly. If you don't ovulate, you don't make enough progesterone and don't get the trigger for your period. Your uterine lining can thicken over time and be at increased risk of uterine cancer. See a provider to discuss if you are a candidate for taking a short course (7-10 days) of progesterone to trigger a period every 2-3 months.
