Some times : If you have significant diarrheal losses from the prep there can be some electrolyte changes. In most patients these are mild and get corrected. If your kidney function is normal these changes may it happen and if they do are mild. Once back on diet things should be back to normal.

Yes: you will loose a lot of stool with the preperation and this stool contains electrolytes
