Can armour thyroid effect my period?

Sort of: The medicine you take for hypothyroid does not directly affect your period, however thyroid dysfunction DOES affect your periods. In other words, if you are not on the correct dose of medicine, your periods can be affected. Always follow thyroid levels with your doctor as he or she has instructed. There may be other reasons your periods are off, so talk to your doctor about this as well.
