Rigid orthosis: A "short CAM walker" is often prescribed for an accessory navicular. If this is not tolerated a rigid orthotic, loose fitting shoe, and anti-inflammatory medication can help relieve symptoms. Although rare, if symptoms persist the accessory bone is removed.

An : Accessory navicular isn't necessarily a problem. It does tend to be a problem when the arch flattens so an arch support is helpful. Are you in any pain?
