Thyroid Gland: Could be pathologic although at your age it would be unusual. Might be the leading edge of the sternocleidomastoid muscle or you may be palpating the Thyroid gland or enlarged parathyroid. Recommend have a physician take a look especially If findings are not asymmetric.
