Difficulty falling: asleep is often associated w/anxiety while waking up early and not returning to sleep is associated w/depression. Periodic waking is associated w/overall light sleep. Not sure: Is the room dark? Cool? Quiet? Do you have electronics in the room, especially those with blue lights? Do you exercise late in the day? When is your last caffeine for the day? Do you drink very much alcohol or eat heavily before bed? Do you keep a regular sleep schedule?
