EAR ITCH: IS THIS ITCHING INSIDE THE EAR OR OUTSIDE ON YOUR EAR? I CANNOT TEL WITHOUT LOOKING AND SEEING. MANY YEARS AGO I MADE A HOUSE CALL ON A WOMAN WITH SEVERE ITCHING IN -- IN -- THE EAR. I LOOKED IN HER EAR WITH MY OTOSCOPE AND I FOUND A MOTH TRYING TO CRAWL OUT. COULD ANYTHING, ANY INSECT HAVE FLOWN IN OR CRAWLED INTO YOUR EAR? GO TO AN URGENT CARE CENTER, OR YOUR PCP, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
